Finally after fighting solidly for a year and a half, he passed away two weeks ago tomorrow. It saddens me, as he was larger then life. I hate to see my family in pain, and watching Debbie and Nick fall apart is very hard for me. Nick brought home some of his stuff on Saturday and went through it all on Sunday and it was really hard for him.
Telling Colin was hard, as he was adament that Poppa was coming out of the hospital and going to go home. It was so hard to tell him that he wasn't coming home at all now. He just knows that Poppa isn't here anymore.
